• M: Test IV post-mortem. [Nothing to hand in today, woot.]
• T: NO CLASS MEETING TODAY. Instead, please use this time as an extra exam re-do work session. If you do an exam, revision, recall this works as follows:
1. You hand in your original test, unchanged.
2. On separate paper, write new solutions to whichever problems you like.
3. Since you have this extra time to do these solutions, and since you will have seen the solutions in the test post-mortem on Monday, your revision solutions will be expected to be entirely complete and extremely clear. This means doing your work one step at a time, writing "=" whenever it is appropriate (and not when inappropriate), justifying each of those steps, etc. A very good way to do this would be to write a rough draft before you write the version you will hand in.
4. Because you have this extra time and so will doubtlessly be handing in particularly beautiful revisions, this time only, each point you earn on test revisions will be worth 1/2 a point added to in your midterm grade (past revisions have been worth only 1/3 of a point).
5. If you had to miss Monday's class and test post-mortem, send me an e-mail and I will reply with a link to the video. You can also pick up your test, if you didn't on Monday, by coming to my office or, if I am not in my office, by asking for it (and showing your ID) at the Math Learning Center.
• W: Read §8.1; hand in Test IV revisions, if you so choose.
Whether or not you hand in Test IV revisions, you must hand in BI48, on this special topic:
• What do you think you did right and what did you do wrong both
1. in terms of preparation for this test, and
2. in general terms on the test itself
• Θ: Read §8.2; hand in BI49 and HW48 §8.1: 30[28], 38[36], 44[46], 52[50]
• F: Quiz 9 today. Read §11.1; hand in BI50 and HW49 §8.2: 24[22], 30[26], 32[20]

• Exam week, no classes.
• The exam has two parts, Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st, both 8:00-10:30am in our usual classroom.
